About Brain Injury

Approximately 1 million people live with the effects of acquired brain injury in the United Kingdom at any one time. Brain injury can happen to anyone at any time. In most cases, it’s a sudden onset condition, and often results in long term difficulties with cognitive and physical functioning.

Through our affiliation with the national charity Headway – The Brain Injury Association, we’re pleased to be able to provide our clients, their families and carers, and health professionals with access to a wealth of information about everything to do with brain injury.

Visit the main Headway UK website for more information, including an explanation of the different types of brain injury, the symptoms and effects, recovery and rehabilitation, living with brain injury, and practical issues like legal advice, benefits, compensation, driving and returning to work.
