The Team

Letter Size:

At Headway Bedford, we have a core team of 5 full-time staff, 13 part-time staff and 2 visiting tutors. We are supported by a dedicated band of 45-50 volunteers. Some of our volunteers are past clients of Headway Bedford themselves who now use their own experience of dealing with brain injury at first hand to give support, motivation and encouragement to other people who’ve been affected by brain injury.

All our staff and volunteers are fully DBS checked and well-trained in dealing with all the issues surrounding brain injury. Their knowledge and skills are growing all the time through on-the-job training and regular in-house and external training courses.
