Headway Bedford and its wonderful staff of angels have taken me into their family and provided me with a new useful and strong focus on life. I find volunteering both a rewarding challenge and an emotional roller coaster as clients leave etc.
I have always ploughed my own furrow but now finding myself the horse pulling the plough. That suits me just fine now.
My mind seemed only able to deal with me, until volunteering rescued me.
